Welcome to Belgrade!

Dear Colleague,

You are cordially invited to participate at the X International School and Conference on Photonics - PHOTONICA2025 that will take place in Belgrade, Serbia (August 25 - August 29, 2025).

PHOTONICA2025 will include five days of tutorial, keynote and invited lectures, progress reports, contributed talks and poster presentations. It is conceived as a school for educating young scientists and the conference facilitating the exchange of new ideas and knowledge in cutting-edge research in Europe and beyond. It brings together not only the scientists from academic and government research institutions, but also the partners from high-tech industry. This concept proved to be very successful in the last eight meetings, with participation of more than 200 eminent scientists, young researchers, and companies representatives from the field of photonics.

Option to publish full manuscripts in Applied Physics B (impact factor 2.0).

We are looking forward to seeing you at PHOTONICA2025 in August 2025!

PHOTONICA2025 will host joint event "Light and biological surface interaction for sensing aplications", under COST Action CA21159 - PhoBioS. More information can be found here.

Photonica 2025 will organize SensSmart Project Workshop "Multimodal Sensor Systems and Artificial Intelligence in Service of Cardiovascular Diagnostics", supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. The program of the Workshop is available here.

Photonica 2025 will host BioQantSense workshop "Laser microscopy - classical and quantum", funded by the European Union. You can download the Workshop program on the following link.

Photonica 2025 will feature a workshop on "Advanced Nanosystems for Photoconversion", organized by the Aerosol4solar and NIMPHA research projects, both supported by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia. The workshop is designed to showcase innovative methodologies for leveraging photoexcitation processes within hybrid nanosystems, with an emphasis on the efficient conversion of light into electrical and mechanical energy.
