Poster presentations


We kindy ask poster presenters at Photonica2021 to send the .pdf poster file to the Webmaster: Stanko Nikolić, e-mail: stankon@ipb.ac.rs.

During the poster submission, the student will need to indicate in their e-mail whether they wish to be considered for the Best Student Presentation award.

All participants who have chosen to present a poster at Photonica2021 may do so:

  • In person (at conference venue: in SANU buidling). In order to prepare the poster presentation, we inform that the maximal poster dimensions are 95 cm (width) and 130 cm (height).

  • Online using their own computers or gadgets. The meeting room is the equivalent of the "poster stand" at a live conference event and you will be completely free to use your e-poster, slides, movies, and data by sharing your screen to explain your poster and answer questions from attendees. As the poster presenter you will need to be in your assigned "Webex meeting room" for the duration (2 hour) of poster session. During the poster sessions, attendees will circulate from one poster to another by moving from one poster room to another.
    The detailed instructions on how to use Webex platform you can read here.

  • Both in person and online: Actually, we encourage all in person posters presenters to present their research also on virtual (online) poster section.

Poster awards

The three best poster presentations at PHOTONICA2021, provided by HTECgroup, will be awarded.

The awards will be selected by a scientific jury, based on the originality and depth of the research accomplished, and the quality of the oral presentation and slides.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, authors whose abstracts are selected for Contributed talk in addition may present their results only at online posters sessions.
